An individual voice

Boutique food retailer, The Woolston Market, positioned in the beautiful Tannery retail mall, desired to reposition their brand and make a contemporary design statement. The creative was inspired by late Victorian newspaper design and Edwardian illustrated engravings. Budget was very tight on this brand campaign - therefore our creative challenge was to make the cheap, look expensive and skillfully crafted.

The campaign has been applied to the shop fitout, signage, advertising, packaging and merchandising. As a small client we enjoyed the fun of having an open brief and creative licence to explore a fresh graphic style that was designed to appeal to a very discerning consumer demographic - this project is an ongoing labour of love for H&S.
