Expertise at the ready

Christchurch foodies and retailers are bringing back the relaxed joy of the good old fashioned picnic lunch in the park. Gourmet hampers can be ordered on the day, customised to suit the tastes of the consumer and the rest is all about enjoying the great outdoors, while tempting the taste buds with great food and drink. This brand development was all about inviting the consumer to have fun and appeal to the senses - taste, smell and the visual experience of the city scape.

An illustrative creative direction was developed, combining a monochromatic colour palette with retro styled typography. The client was in fact a collective of different gourmet food retailers who contributed to customise the ‘fine food’ picnic experience. All business were local to the Christchurch market, however the product itself was designed to appeal to both locals and international visitors to the city.
