Connecting with the consumer
Following on from the brand refresh and in mall fit-out Merivale Mall wanted to lift the visual dynamic of all of their advertising and external communications. Being a retail environment that’s stacked full of beautiful products sourced from all over the globe, the creative solution used imagery and colour and texture to showcase the range and diversity of retail offerings.
Stock and retailer supplied imagery is used in all ongoing advertising messages - each one is tailored to a specific promotion or seasonal launch. A limited font palette was employed to give a consistency to graphic structures and we used carefully cropped imagery in a montage form to create a bold visual statement. The underlying communication throughout all campaigns is that retail advertising is all about energy and fun - shopping is a social occasion we do for relaxation and stimulation therefore encouraging consumers to stay a while and enjoy.
